President Sherry Foecking called the meeting to order at 1:30 pm. Time constraints led to proceeding to the speaker immediately.

Penny Noriega’s topic was “Dropbox”. One purpose of Dropbox is to serve as a vehicle for sending files that are too large for email, such as multiple photos, videos and lengthy documents. For more info, take the tour at

Sherry thanked Dave Palmer and others for the setup. Those who brought refreshments were Carolyn Waters, Irene Stachow, Gail Parsons, Nancy Stuart, Kitty Sullivan, Rose Terenzi, Ray Garcia.

Parking passes were available for sale for $2.50 at check-in, and it’s intended to continue this in future. Several members tried to purchase passes through a USF online site, but were unsuccessful.

Sherry announced that an agreement has been reached for AppleCore to merge with SNUG, effective with the latter’s October 9th meeting.

The October 9th meeting will feature the video “Rise of the Hackers”, an excellent program previously broadcast on PBS.
