Last September, 2013 we introduced a new technology conference for Sunday, March 16, 2014, which will be a paradigm shift for our organization, as we are reaching out to the world of business along with computer/technology user groups. To receive the on-line registration flyer, click on or copy into your browser:
This conference will be run by people with a proven track record of thirty or more years of entrepreneurial and/or User Group experience. We have been running conferences for the past 20+ years and have successfully conducted conferences from a single day on land to as many as 9 days aboard various cruise ships like last month’s wonderful experience aboard the Royal Caribbean Independence of the Seas. In the past, we have had presentations on all aspects of technology to an audience that consisted primarily of Computer and Technology Club members.  Last September, as a result of feedback that we received, we announced the addition of a track for business people who lack current information but hunger for technical knowledge to run their business more efficiently or to better do their job more effectively.
The Florida Association of Computer User Groups (FACUG) is a Florida-based national non-profit organization. Contrary to most symposiums, FACUG is offering this program primarily as a service, with no charge for any presenter and only a token registration fee of $25, which includes lunch. As people who have already expressed an interest in networking, this is your chance to get in front of potential customers.  If you run a business which is looking for more customers from the conference attendees, this might provide some answers for you. If you might be interested in making a presentation at this conference, reply to and provide us with the topic along with a short bio indicating previous presentations.
