CARDINA, Claire A. 82, of Tampa, passed away Monday, Nov. 4, 2013.  Claire was a member of OLLI since 2006.      In 2007, she became a program volunteer, primarily working as a coach. She was active throughout the organization, taking many computer and liberal arts courses. Claire had had a series  of physical setbacks which sometimes limited her ability to participate, but she coached for a class I taught at LMUMC and she was  terrific. —Ara Rogers 
She is survived by her two sons, Jim and Glenn Johnson; daughters-in-law, Paula & Kim; and grandchildren, Taylor and Sydnee. Claire graduated from Gettysburg College and also earned her master’s degree in Library Science from Rutgers University. She was an award winning archivist and Records Manager for the City of Tampa. Family will receive friends on Saturday, Nov. 9th, 10 am-12 Noon at the Blount & Curry Carrollwood Chapel. Online condolences may be sent to www.blountcurrycarrollwood.com.
