Have you ever lost an under-construction MS Word document because something happened before the document was saved? Did you know that Word can be configured to automatically save your open documents? Here’s how:

Click the File tab, then select Option. In the Word Options Menu, select Save. Then check the AutoRecover option and select a time interval that makes sense. Also, check the Keep the last autosaved version if I close without saving option.

If you wish, you may also specify the autorecovery file location or, alternatively, you may allow the default location.
