The meeting was called to order at 1:30 p.m. by President Jay Hall. He introduced one guest, Doris Hutchinson.

Thanks were given to Caye Wheeler and Nancy Sjoberg for refreshments today, and to Jim Kaehler for the set-up of the beverage service and tables.

Vice President Jim Kaehler introduced the speaker, nationally known Marie Vesta, currently President of the Pasco County Computer Users Group. She explored “Wireless Network” and “Configure Your Wireless Router” with us, including the risks of using a network that is not encrypted. A variety of security tips was covered. Marie distributed two supporting handouts to aid us in setting up a wireless network.

Free gifts of TampaBay Buccaneers mouse pads were distributed to all.

The meeting ended at 2:30 pm and was followed by a Board meeting.
