Insure Your Windows System Recognizes Multi-Core Processors.

If you’ve purchased a new PC in the past three years or so, chances are you acquire a multi-core processor configuration.
Newer systems are often equipped with a dual or even a quad-core processor chip. If this is true for you, you will want to check to be sure Windows knows to boot up with the number of cores set properly. Otherwise, you could be operating with only a single core active. (more…)
