The OLLI Genealogy Interest Group will meet Friday, Jan. 20 from 9:30-11:00 a.m. in Room 308-309 of the Education Building of Lake Magdalene United Methodist Church, 2902 W. Fletcher Ave. Ample free parking is available.
Our speaker will be John Charles Miller, a prior OLLI Instructor, writer, genealogist, and retired geologist.
He will discuss his recent book “Citrus White Gold: An Alternate History of Citrus County, Florida”.
The book is set in the 1890′s and concerns phosphate mining.
John Miller’s website is www.quarkspacetravel.com.
Please RSVP to Trevwund@gmail.comĀ or Ph. 813-977-6484 if you plan to attend.
This would be appreciated so we can determine the number of copies of handouts to make.
Thanks,
